Develop the Heartland Competitiveness Center (HCC) to create a distinctive advantage for Lebanon and Laclede County focused on workforce development /enhancement and “primary” employer competitiveness.

Initiative 6

The community should consider a speculative building program, either a physical building or “virtual” building.

Initiative 7

Development of the I-44 Corridor to attract visitors and shoppers from the Interstate.

Initiative 8 

Expand the small business and entrepreneurial development support system to build on the entrepreneurial spirit of the community.

Initiative 9

Identification of high value-added agricultural products and processing that can be grown / produced in Laclede County.

Initiative 10

Build a relationship with the Missouri Department of Economic Development and national /international site consultants.
